Reception on the occasion of the 22nd Independence Day of Armenia

On September 21, the Armenian Embassy in Japan held an official reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of Armenia. More than 180 guests including members of Japanese Parliament, ministries, other state agencies, diplomatic corps, Japan-Armenia Friendship Association, Japan-Armenia Society, as well as businessmen, university leaders, artists and journalists. attended the reception at the Continental Hall of “Hotel Okura”, Tokyo

The event kicked off with the Armenian and Japanese anthems performed by a well known Japanese soprano and followed by the welcome speech of the Armenian Ambassador in Japan Grant Pogosyan. A congratulary address was also delivered by Kazuyuki Hamada, member of the Japanese Diet.
