On February 9 and 16, the Embassy of Armenia in Japan hosted about four dozen residents of the Minato Ward, Tokyo, as part of the Minakore (ミナコレ) initiative.
The “Open Doors” days aimed to increase the visibility of Armenia and raise awareness about the country.
The Embassy guests learned about Armenia’s history, culture, economic opportunities, and tourist attractions, including Armenian winemaking traditions, and tasted Armenian wines, cognac, and desserts.
Minato is home to more than 80 embassies accredited to Japan, including the Embassy of Armenia. Located in Tokyo Bay, the district is known as a major business center and a high-class residential area with modern skyscrapers and famous landmarks.
