Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Japan Areg Hovhannisyan presented his credentials to His Majesty the Emperor of Japan

On April 12, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Japan Areg Hovhannisyan presented his credentials to His Majesty the Emperor of Japan.
The Emperor congratulated A. Hovhannisyan on assuming the post of the RA Ambassador to Japan, expressing confidence that the newly appointed Ambassador will make every effort to further develop and deepen the Armenian-Japanese relations.
The ceremony, which took place at the Imperial Palace, was also attended by Takuya Hirai, Minister for Digital Transformation and Minister in charge of Information Technology Policy of Japan, with whom the Ambassador had a short private talk on cooperation between Armenia and Japan in the field of IT.
