Events in Japan Presented Armenia as a High Potential Country for Tourism

13 March, 2014

Last week, on March 13, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) launched an event dedicated to the development of tourism in the Caucasus.

Armenia’s Ambassador to Japan, H.E. Dr. Grant R. Pogosyan gave a speech on Armenian history and culture to representatives of nearly 20 Japanese travel agencies.

With the support of the Armenian Embassy to Japan a booth was set in the hall of JICA’s World Plaza building where visitors could learn about Armenian sights, culture and try Armenian dishes and liquors.
